Server migration

Hi 

 

I would like to migrate my emby server to a new server and stop the old one as soon as everything is ok.

On server 1 I have an emby emby premiere key and backup configuration

On server 2 I have backup configuration but I cannot import because it asks for my emby premiere key. The 14 day trial does not work

 

What is the best method? Do I have to buy a key to make the transfer? Or can I use my key on the 2 servers while I migrate everything?

You can use the same key.  It is yours to use as you will, but has only one device limit even if used on multiple servers.

This is one of the features I love about Emby.

 

I also use the same key to run both the stable and beta servers in two separate dockers on my home server.  I connect to the beta server, and all the norms get the stable.  I use Trakt to keep my stuff in sync between the two.
