H265 Media Resumed Playback Issues

1、The H265 version of the following episodes cannot be resumed playback in browser.H264 version is normal.

3、Currently no other H265 video has a similar problem.

 

4、Delete the media  directory and readd,or restart emby server, the problem remains.

Just an update.

 

After looking at the file it appears a problem with the file (maybe header info).

A remux of the file fixed it and it's working now.

20% of HEVC videos have the same problem（playback cannot be resumed from the middle）. I think it should be caused by the imperfect support of the system for HEVC.

What is the audio track on those videos?  I see audio causing more problems than video in HEVC files.

So curious, after remuxing with the audio transcoded as above but doing a copy of the video track does the file play ok after that?

After remuxing,it work.But it is confusing, why do so many files have such problems? And it is the same for all episodes of the entire TV series, so I think it is a compatibility issue with some kind of coding. I deliberately gave the original file to a friend who used plex to test, it can resume playback.

Likely the issue is the person who put together these series you have gathered.  I used to see this problem myself but totally solved this and all related problems by remuxing all files on my system.
