Can't play old avi videos

I'm getting a "too many errors giving up" message when trying to play old avi videos. I've tried on Android TV, the web app, and Android Mobile and only the Android Mobile app is able to play them.

What happened in the web app? Can you provide a log example from that? Thanks.

Sure. Just tried it again in the Web app. Here are the logs. After i pressed Play the video was stuck at 0 with a blank screen.

That works. Interesting. Why wouldn't it work with hardware transcoding on?
