Hey guys

 

After the last update for some reason i have lost my collections folder. i have the Auto Box Sets plugin as well. when i go into say movies => collections its just empty where there should be 50 or so movies. Even the main screen is missing the collection folder. (i have checked it not unticked to display its fully gone)

 

running Version 4.3.1.0

 

Anyone know how to get it back?

Hi, make sure your emby user has access to the collections library. Also try running a library scan.

Sounds like you don't have sent collections. Try creating one using the web interface.

Where did collection ID 97256 come from?  It would appear to be a invalid collectionID as that item is not part of a collection on TMDB.  Since no ID could be found via TMDB it was not created.

Do you collections still appear in "C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\collections"?

 

Can you post or pm a server log.

just checked here there is no collections folder listed, would it be worth while trying a reinstall over the top

If there are no collections in "C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\collections", that would mean Emby has not created any collections for you.

 

If you selected a item and multi-select or click three dot menu and "Add to Collection" does it work?

 

A reinstall over the top won't hurt anything but we will probably still need to see a server log.

Even if i remove the UFC 162 it mentioned, it still errors

Ok so i did what you said manually added a boxset, i see folders in the \data\collections folder now, the icon appears on the main menu "collections" and the cover art updated with the grudge images. I reinstalled the box set plugin and run it still get that above error with MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: NotFound

That error is produced for the item that has a invalid collectionid in the items metadata.

 

Example above

UFC 162 is not a member of any collection according to TMDB.

 

Items with valid TMDB collectionids will be grouped via the plugin.

 

You will need to go over another example to include metadata if official TMDB collection items are not being grouped into collections.

Yeah i cant get it to scan past that UFC folder as it hits errors, regardless if i move them out it just goes down to the next one. I dont really want to remove that whole folder.

The plugin should continue past the invalid ids though.  I have several in my log but alway continues to the next item.

If you enable Debug logging you will see more information.  Dashboard-Logs

 

Note when enabling or disabling debug logging you need to restart the server for logging level to change.

ok here is that log, looks like it skips a heap then dies. i deleted all the movie files in the UFC folder to remove those link ids but it must cache them somewere.

But the task finished.  All item only have 1 collection item so they are ignored since plugin collection value is set to 3 and since UFC item has invalid collection id it is ignored.  You will have to manually add then to a Collection.  You will need to manually update UFC item metadata removing the invalid collectionid

 

You can adjust the plugin threshold to 1 if you like.

Not related to boxset, but i see you downgrade from a beta server to stable server and have messed up plugins.  So you have some incompatible plugins that won't load do to they are not built for this server version, but I can't tell which one or if there is more then one.

Unless there is a library issue you have "Found 387 potential box sets." and all but one are returning only one item from the collection.

 

 

Logs shows 387 found and 386 ignored for only one item and 1 Unable to verify.

Not related to boxset, but i see you downgrade from a beta server to stable server and have messed up plugins.  So you have some incompatible plugins that won't load do to they are not built for this server version, but I can't tell which one or if there is more then one.

Would have to go over a specific example.  Pick a collection that should exist and go over the item metadata that is assigned.

How many movies do you actually have in The Ring Collection since the plugin only sees 1.  If you have the others please show the externalids shown for the items.

 

Is all of your media Identified in Emby?  You may have provider plugin issue as I did not go over each plugin as you have plugin versioning issues since you downgraded.

Okay you will need to pick a example that you feel should work.  Unless you previously had all custom collections.  But I have no idea what happened to your previous identified collections.

yeah i kicked off a full re meta, and now the collections are slowly coming back (well a few did) will give it some time now and see what happens.

never mind its taking ages so i think its working thanks heaps for all your help awesome as always guys! and my dumb issues, just renamed the plugins to -old and redownloaded
