Remote Access

Hi, When I first installed Emby I chose not to allow remote access. I have changed my mind,but I can't find where I would  turn on this feature.  Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?

Yep, easiet way is to:

1. Setup a DHCP reservation or static IP for your emby server

2. If you have UPnP enabled emby will do this. If not you will need to unblock and port forward 8096 (http) and/or 8920 (HTTPS) on your homerouter to your emby server.

3. Enable remote access in your emby server.

 

If you do HTTPS you will need to create a self signed SSL certificate or purchase and convert a PKI certificate to a PFX certificate.

Thanks for that.. I must have looked at that setting 100 times and it didn't click..
