NFO file generated for local trailers

After the update to NFO Metadata to 1.0.26 on 24.02.2020, my Emby Server started generating NFO files for local trailers. Naming of trailer is per WIKI <filename>-trailer.<ext>.

Emby Server is version 4.3.1.0, running on QNAP.

Since this started happening since the update to NFO Metadata plugin, I am guessing there's an error in the code here.

its doing it for extras as well

Perhaps trailers don't make sense but it has been requested to have them for extras.

this is probably a stupid question but could we have an option to turn them off - i.e. a server setting

@@Luke - I can't really figure out what to expect. Will we get a version where we can decide ourselves for what content we want NFO's or will it be disabled for trailers again?

It will be disabled for trailers.

Was wondering if this was implemented or still in progress?

I am running latest version and its still doing it so if it was implemented, do I need to do something to enable it?

I'll push out an nfo plugin update to stop it saving for trailers. thanks.

Note you will have to manually delete all already created trailer nfo files.

I figured. Thats easy enough with a *trailer.nfo search on the movie drive :) Just glad it wont keep doing it soon

I have this problem with the latest versions of the plugin (1.0.29.0) and Emby (4.2.2.0.)

You can just delete your existing nfo's and they should not be recreated.

Delete the trailer's nfo? I do that regularly. New ones appear (I don't think for the same movies/trailers but I'm not certain.)

We'd have to go over an example. Thanks.

If I'm the only one with the problem I'll figure it out. Let's see if the new version fixed it for others.

Unrelated: but I discovered the "bif" feature (10s stills) when I explored settings to solve this problem. I must have missed the announcement. It's great!

@@Happy2Play are you still able to reproduce?

Tested adding new item with trailer on stable and beta, no trailer nfo was created.

Deleting previous trailer nfo and refreshing the item did not recreate the nfo.

I'm upgrading existing items (no new items yet) after deleting library.db and rebuilding, so maybe an edge case.
