Hi,

My Windows server 2008 R2 doesn't come with WMC, and I assume MBC requires that. Is there any workaround?

You assumed right,MBC does require WMC and I am sure there is no workaround.

You could try MBT as that is a stand alone client,remember though it is still in alpha stage.
