Emby Connect from Android

Hello.

I joined Emby Premiere to avail myself of remote connections.

I have never been able to get it to work from my Nexus 6 android mobile.

I have read and re-read the External Connections help pages, and tried many scenarios.

I have registered for Emby Connect, which the help pages encourage.

I turn off WiFi and using the Emby Mobile app, it gets me to the Select Server screen.

I choose 'Sign In With Emby Connect' and go through the entering username and password.

That exercise comes back with exactly the same screen, so I'm in a loop.

How do I move forward from this position?

I am just guessing are the users enabled for remote connections ?  In the server section under users there is an option allow remote connections to this emby server.

Yes, User is allowed for remote connection.

You mentioned trying this on a Nexus 6.  But have you been able to connect remotely with any device or web browser to verify you have Emby Server,  your router and firewall setup to work with Emby?

Many thanks to those who have offered solutions. Together with my son (an Emby enthusiast) I have sorted the issue, and am now enjoying Emby remotely.
