Conversion question

My server was stuggling to transcode a VC1 file for playback on roku, so I used the convert feature to create a copy in a roku-friendly format in the original media folder. My understanding from the original sync feature was that the server would treat these as one movie, and select the best format for playback for a particular device. Rather, it treats the copy as a separate library item. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Hi, you're not doing anything wrong, but in some cases you may have to adjust the file names so that it will be detected as multi-version:

Thanks Luke. Turns out my folder name was slightly different than then file name. After correcting, both versions now appear under one library item.
