Change the Channel Image on the Web client view

Since the introduction of the channel concept there is now a Channel icon on the web client. How do you change this icon from the awful default icon.

 

Whilst it is early days personally I find the new channel system a backwards step. for trailers it is significently slower and the content does not respond to Coverart treatments. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Trailers may be a slight exception here but I think you will appreciate that some of the other channels have added a lot of value to the overall system. The new TuneIn channel for example works very well.

 

I did also notice the lack of coverart but have no performance issues at all.

If you hover over it, while viewing large tiles, you can edit it by clicking the pencil on the overlay. This will allow you to edit the icon. If you're using the automatic grouping, you may need to set it for each user.

 

I think Channels are a good step forward and will improve over time. As I don't use cover art, I don't have any thoughts about that issue.

Thanks for the info - that has got it sorted.

 

I am sure coverart etc will catch up at some point.  We'll wait and see. I am not really interested in the other channels so far but you never know ....
