mbyhome 2 Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Hi Luke, Saw the latest update of 4.3.0.25. Just curious about if the web client music shuffle issue in 4.2.1 (It only randomly selects a sub-dir and plays it in order, if you remember. And it has been fixed in iOS client) has been fixed? Didn't find it in the 4.3.0.25 changelog. I use the web client to play music a lot. Thanks man!
Luke 42077 Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Hi, you're saying it is or isn't' resolved for you in the iOS app?
mbyhome 2 Posted November 21, 2019 Author Posted November 21, 2019 Hi, you're saying it is or isn't' resolved for you in the iOS app? It has been resolved in the iOS app long ago, but wasn't resolve in the webapp (at least in 4.2.1) Here's the previous post regarding it: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/76411-web-client-shuffle-issue-for-421/ Haven't seen related updates in 4.3.0.25 so I'm not sure whether it has been fixed in the latest release. Thanks Luke!
Solution Luke 42077 Posted November 21, 2019 Solution Posted November 21, 2019 Ok, then it should be resolved in the web app as well. You can try it on the online web app: http://app.emby.media 1

Seems that linux 4.3.0.25 is offline now and I'm using 4.3.0.24-beta and it works. Great job and thank you so much Luke!
botbswco 5 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Web app (Windows) shuffle working at folder level but not at library level. At library level the same series of tracks plays every time you shuffle. At folder level you get a different series each time. Example: At home screen, click on music library under my media which opens to suggestions page with no option to shuffle there. Click on folders brings up the folders in the library. Click shuffle here and get a random series of tracks but only from the first folder listed. Click on a folder, then shuffle and get a series of tracks. Backup to folder level, click shuffle and get the same series from the first folder. Click on the same folder as prior, click shuffle and get a different series.
Luke 42077 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 We are looking into this. Thanks for the feedback.
