Channels Trailers vs Trailers

So I understand if Channels Trailers take the same data place that Trailers plugin why Channel trailers has not fetch none backdrop?

With Trailers plugin the most of movies have backdrops.

not all of the metadata services have been hooked into channels yet. give it time.

Can't at the moment. The old trailers location is being phased out for the new channel version. Once most/all of the clients have been updated to display the channel version the old version is going to be removed.

 

MBC is just one of the first clients to support channels. Hopefully the other clients will be updated relatively soon so this won't be an issue for long.
