framerate missmatch on shield tv pro 2019

hi guys

the shield is not adapting automatically to the framerate of the content that is beeing played. however, kodi seems to use a beta feature that is hidden in the quick settings and they trigger this switch automatically everytime a movie is beeing played. otherwise this would need to be done manualy everytime. it would be awesome if you guys have a look at this and would be able to add this feature to the android tv emby app. this is the feature i'm refering to:

Have you explored all of the Emby for Android TV app settings? It already has the feature to change the refreshrate and it is doing it in the same way as Kodi does it. Matching the framerate is a standard Android functionality that is available since a very very long time on the Shield. The problem is the apps and their developers that do not use this standard feature, that's why Nvidia tries to solve it app independently with their own custom integration.
