ebr 16184 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 The "cache" you saw in the browser message would not have anything to do with Emby's cache so I think that was a red herring. But what was the solution to your 100% disc utilization problem? To know what is happening during playback, we'd need to see the server and ffmpeg logs generated from it. I'm gonna guess you are playing something like a 4K HEVC file that needs transcoding that the i3 is struggling with - but that is a blind guess at this point.
Solution rldev 1 Posted October 3, 2019 Author Solution Posted October 3, 2019 Ok. so fixing the ssd drive issues have resulted in good performance on my android tv boxes using direct play and transcoding. Which is good enough for me. The only problem I'm having now is playing through a web browser(chrome) which is problematic, especially on the local machine. I can live with that. I'll send some logs when I get the chance. 1
