Alphabetic sorting issue on Nvidia Shield

Hello

I have an issue with the alphabetic sorting on my shield

If I go to 'My Media > Movies'
It will show my movie library along with a alphabetic quick selection on the left side:

A
Æ
B
C
D
E
F
G
H
I
J
K
L

and so on

The problem is if I select anything below 'Æ', for example D or F or G, it will only jump to 'Æ' making it impossible to fast jump to pretty much any letter selected.

The web interface sorta works, if I select a letter below 'Æ' it will first show the movies starting with 'Æ' then the movies starting with the selected letter.

 

Usually Æ comes at the end of the alphabet: XYZÆØÅ, maybe something internally expects this?

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

The issue is that we are trying to force that special character to sort where we as English-speakers "feel" it should, but that isn't where it actually belongs...
