Why won't my show identify properly?

I've been recording the show Yellowstone (the one with Kevin Costner).   For all of last season everything was fine with the metadata but now suddenly it shows as a National Geographic artwork.

 

So I click Identify and search for Yellowstone.   The tv show is not an option.  I go to thetvdb.org and find the proper id (73586) and put it in.  Doesn't work.     So far everything I have tried has failed at having Emby properly identify the show.  Btw, Plex handles it perfectly

Hi.  The tvdb was undergoing maintenance last evening and their API may still not be up 100%.  Are there errors in your logs?

I went to the logs link in the manage server area and looked at the file embhyserver.txt.  I searched for the strings   error, Error, and fail.   No hits.  Would be nice if there was a simple log viewer that would automatically highlight failures.

 

Unless thetvdb.org is still down I don't know what is going on.  I just did an "Identify" and it pulls back lots of info about the National Geographic Yellowstone but the correct one is missing.

I was able to use imdb and got a hit and now everthing is fixed up.  But using the thetvdb to do the same did not work.

I just tested this and the proper series was returned as the sixth option.  It is labeled "Yellowstone (2018)".  This is exactly how the results come back from the tvdb site as well.

 

Naming the folder "Yellowstone (2018)" would have made it automatically identify this series properly.

Sorry where did you get that id?  Had no issue with tvdbid 341164.  Since there is more then one "Yellowstone" add the year to the title as shown on TVDB "Yellowstone (2018)".

Dang it!  My bad guys.   I literally tried to go to thetvdb.ORG and didn't notice that it bounced me to themoviedb.  It was my  mistake all along.   All fixed now.  And sorry for the noise!
