Misinthe 46 Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hey everyone, I just set up a Fire Stick on my son's TV and after I log into the server and I try to select user, it keeps saying Invalid User ID Or Password, anyone know why? Thank you for your time.

Hello, I tried both users, one with password and one without password, both gave the same error. I am running Emby Server Version 4.1.1.0

Thanks. 1. I open the app in the Vizio TV. 2. I select my Server. 3. I click on user Adam. (no password set up for him. 4. I get the error on the second image.

I also looked in all the other Logs from previous days, you can look at the one I put in my previous post, and I can't see anything about that event.

We recently had another user with this problem and their router or other security software was blocking the login request. I'll have to see if I can dig that up to see exactly what it was. Edit: Here it is. That fixed it. Thank you very much! My AntiVirus was detectining it as an online threat. I am using Bitdefender Antivirus 2019. I didn't have my widget activated so I didn't notice the notifications on it! I'm glad this worked, my son is going to be excited to watch on his bedroom now. Again, thank you very much! 1
