I have The Adventures of Superman being recorded by the HDHomeRun DVR.  Some of my Superman recordings are correct, but about half of them are named for the NEW Superman series called "Lois and Clark".  How do I get them to have the correct info???

Correct information.  post-38990-0-33352300-1560903926_thumb.jpg

Update.  I cut the .mpg and BIF file from the HDHomeRun recorded folder and pasted it to a different different folder on a different NAS device.  I did not move any of the other files, like NFO, etc.  I did a library scan, and it gave that file the correct name.......... Sooo, now I am moving ALL the media and BIF files from the HDHomeRun folder to the other location.  Crossing my fingers if that works........

Edit the file name is correct, just that, for whatever reason, EMBY was choosing a different show.

Edit 2:  Bingo, that did the trick, relocated the files and deleted the NFO, etc files.  Did a library scan, and not that crappy "Lois and Clark", is now just a memory of the past.

Of course, this did not find out WHY, Emby CHOSE to associate these media files with the wrong TV show............

WHY, Emby CHOSE to associate these media files with the wrong TV show.

Try searching for parts of the filename on the website of the highest priority metadata provider for that library. That should explain why.
