Regarding WAN/Remote Connections

I'm just getting my Emby server set up at a new place for the next few months and I can't seem to connect anymore.

I have my Firewalls set up to allow 8096 and 8920. I've set up Port Forwarding on the Router for both 8096 and 8920. But I'm still getting nothing. I think the issue is in my WAN address maybe?

When I'm setting up the rule in my modem, I'm setting it up for 192.168.0.9, which appears to be the address assigned to my PC. Am I supposed to be setting up the port forward with my WAN address?

It starts with 76.183.etc.etc and my modem won't allow me to replace 192.168.0 when I go into Port Forwarding.

Hi, what do you mean by this?

No, it sounds like you've done it correctly.

As in, nothing will connect outside of my PC.

Here are a few more pictures if they can help anyone identify the problem I'm having.

Are you able to connect from other devices inside your network?

I'm glad you asked because I wrongfully assumed that I could. Even devices that are hooked up via ethernet, on the same router, can't access it. Wireless devices can't either. So that leaves my PC, which hosts the server, as the only device that can access it.

You need to allow 8096 under protocols and ports in that screenshot, not where its currently configured.

This would indicate your firewall is also blocking the port(s).

I have them set up like this. Is this wrong?

No problem man, I appreciate you trying to help me.

I just found the problem. There are like five Emby app selections in the "Allow Apps through WDF" and one of them was unticked. I ticked it and now everything is fine.

Thanks so much for all of the support.
