Stuttering

Hi

 

I have issues (stuttering / not playing at all) with some videofiles in Emby Theatre from the Windows Store, while the regular desktop app (PC) and the Android app plays them just fine. I have bought the HEVC Video Extensions from the store but I guess it's a codec problem.

I use directplay for streaming, so no transcoding.

 

I will pm a file to those who are interested (@Luke).

 

Out of curiosity: How comes the desktop app has no playback issues while the Windows Store one does?  :)

They use different players. The store app uses the windows player and the desktop app uses mpv, which is a much better player.

For the store app, please try lowering the in app quality setting. Thanks.

Could it also be a cache issue, like what occasionally happens on Xbox One?

No, media content isn't' cached.
