Tracks/ "All Songs" View for Artists

It'd be killer if an 'all my songs' list was added to an artist's page.

 

A single list that consolidates all tracks by an artists, including non-album tracks, compilations, soundtracks etc.

 

Right now, Emby includes a 'featured on' list, but if you don't know where a song appeared (or the name by heart) it's not very friendly.

 

I have a 'non-album tracks' compilation album, for example, with over 1,000 songs on it.

 

It'd be helpful if the song itself would just appear on the artist's page so I didn't have to search that list manually.

So I figured out that pressing 'play' on an artist and viewing the playlist accomplishes this, but a shortcut to this list (so I don't have to interrupt something I'm listening to) would be the ticket.

Yes, I would like to super bump this. Ultimately, it feels like if you search for an artist (or really anything) it should return you Tracks, Albums, Artists, Appears on, Like this. For any search.

 

Ultimately there seems to be some inconsistency in the search results with music. If you search or something like "Black Sabbath" (no quotes) you won't get an artist match right off (which is fine) because they have a self titled song. You should see the Artist, the Playlists (if any), the Albums, the 'Appears on', and then the Tracks. At that point in the search you should be able to click those things or click on the headings do narrow the search to "Albums" or "Appears on" etc. So, if you do a search, then click "Tracks" you could get a list of all the tracks in that search. 

 

It seems like this is mostly done, just the kind of nested search capability is not there. That would make for a much more robust music library system.

First are global search results. All by type. Click a type.. see all search results for that type, not just a subset. This is the nested search. It would basically be the [show more...] of the search results for each type each row is.

@LukeI just checked both WebUI and Theather and both do indeed have this function, but went to Android TV and Samsung TV and neither have this function.  Will this capability be added to other client apps soon?
