moviepalace4K 29 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Hey, Where have the TV SEASONS images gone on the home page? The images are just on the hard disk but are not indexed by EMBY !? Anyone suggest this? I rescanned and restarted, neither helps. The problem occurred with the last update. Greetings
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Looking at those names I would guess that your folder structure in not supported since those are episodes appearing as series. What is your folder structure for that library?
moviepalace4K 29 Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 Yesterday morning I did have the pictures on the homepage. This has disappeared since I updated yesterday to Version 4.1.0.26. And I haven't touched the folder structure for a while. So somewhere a mistake has crept in?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 And what do you see if you enter the TV Shows library? Just a guess but it may be the "Improve series folder detection" that is affecting your folder structure.
moviepalace4K 29 Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 Dit is wat ik zie. Waar vind ik de " Verbeter map-detectie " knop?
Luke 42083 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Hi, what is the folder structure of your tv library?
moviepalace4K 29 Posted April 18, 2019 Author Posted April 18, 2019 (edited) folder: TV series name series (start date) folder: episode series (S01E01) movie + srt folder: episode series (S01E02) movie + srt Edited April 18, 2019 by Patrick1945
Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 18, 2019 Posted April 18, 2019 Sorry can you provide a screen shot of that library folders content. If I interpret the post above correctly, that structure has never been supported, but devs would like to support it in the future.
keithwalker80 6 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I am also having the same issue since the update but it has only affected 2 series that I can see. I have checked the folder structure to see if there is any difference but I can find none. Here is how it looks in type as I cannot figure out how to add a screen shot properly at the moment.: D: Emby -TV Shows -Dragon Ball Z -Android Saga -Episodes -Cell Games Saga -Episodes There are 7 other sagas with the subfolder of episodes. I have not had this issue until the update of the server today. When I look in the TV library on the server, it shows each of these sagas stripped out of the parent folder and shown as separate series. Why has it done this with just this one family of folders and not the others that are identical to it? Did something change? Please help
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted April 19, 2019 Solution Posted April 19, 2019 Same issues as here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/72642-latest-emby-update-broke-custom-season-names/ Custom named Season folders. Technically these should be customized in metadata instead of folder names. 1
keithwalker80 6 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 As Happy2Play has stated, if you name your folders "Season1" instead of a custom name like "Android Saga", it will group properly again under the parent folder in your library view. I hope this helps everyone out.
moviepalace4K 29 Posted April 25, 2019 Author Posted April 25, 2019 Sa orry for thé very late answer. It workstation. It must be: series name (S.W.A.T. (2017) Season (Season 1) episode (S01E01) (S01E02) And tegen would it be recognized on thé server. Thanks for the help
