Latest server version broke iPad functionality for me

iPad Web App just won't work today anymore.  Can't play any videos or LiveTV through it.

When I click to play with Safari the circle spins for a while and then eventually I receive an error that "The operation cannot be completed"

When I try in chrome it just keeps spinning and I never get any error.

This had been working great until after the recent server update.

Anyone else seeing this?  I'll post a log in a little bit but just wondering if it is specific to my instance or a broader issue that others are seeing as well.

Here is the log I promised.

This is just trying to play a single TV video file through iPad on Safari WebApp.

Thanks. I don't see playback requests in the server log though. Can you enable debug logging under advanced and then post the whole log?

Yes it works fine for me too from my computer, using Chrome.  Just not the iPad.

Doesn't appear to have debug logging on, or maybe it is but i can't tell. I really need the whole log and not a snippet of it.

Well here, is what I did.  Enabled debug logging checkbox.  clicked save.  Deleted existing logfile.  Opened WebApp on iPad.  Clicked play on particular episode of 24.  Waited until I received the message that "The Operation Cannot be completed."  Copied log and then uploaded.

Did I do something wrong here?   My apologies if so was just trying to capture the issue in the log but not a bunch of other garbage.

You're doing fine, no worries. Can I see the whole file though? Sometimes the other information is useful. Thanks.

Not sure if this is going to help but I did it one more time....

1) Powered off iPad

2) Deleted existing LogFiles

3) Enabled debug logging and clicked save.  clicked to another section and back to advanced to make sure it was still checked.

4) Powere on iPad

5) Opened iPad WebApp

6) Clicked into 24 and played S9 E1

7) Waited for Operation Could not be completed message

8) Clicked stop button

9) Copied logs to Upload.

One thing I noticed as I watched the logfile directory is that the transcode file appeared at exactly the same moment as the "Operation could not be completed error"

Note:  this is the entire log file. Same as the last one.  The only thing I did to it was delete the existing log file BEFORE I started the process.  No editing afterwards at all.

I think Luke needs a complete log including the server startup, so after deleting restart the server.

Well, that fixed it.  Kinda feel stupid now.  Guess a restart was in order before rushing to the forums; I had just restarted the service so many times over the past few days with upgrades I didnt consider that could possibly be the cause.  Especially since it was just specific to the iPad.  Well, anyway, thanks for all the assistance in looking through logs till now and happy Friday everyone!

Thanks. If you want to reduce the update frequency just go back to beta or stable updates.

I am on Beta right now.  There was just those two updates in a row I guess and it seemed so short (less than a day) before the problem was reported by the wife so I thought it was related to the update versus needing another reboot.
