Missing seasons for a tv show

Hi,

I added a new tv show (Family Guy) to my library and for some reason, it is not showing all the seasons. I have removed the folder, done a full scan, reinserted it and scanned it again (for a different set of seasons to show up while simultaneously making a bunch of seasons disappear) as well as removing the entire tv show library as a whole. I have no clue how to fix this and the other couple threads I saw on it didn't seem to have any definite fix.

Any ideas?

Sorry for the massive screenshots. The log has me just doing the full library reinsert right now so hopefully, it isn't too overwhelming.

Steps I've done to try to resolve

Remove family guy folder and scan multiple times,

Full scans with refresh to metadata

Library removal and readding

Multiple library scans.

Thank you

As a test - remove the (1999) from the folder name

On TVDB its just "Family Guy" and it started in 1995 :)

Ah yes the year could be the problem. Thanks penkethboy.

That fixed it!

Thank you so much. Although the same thing happened with parks and Rec however it seems to have the correct year on that one. I had these shows set up via the auto organizeif it helps at all.

If anyone else has the same issue, removing the year from the folder seems to be the fix. (For those that are googling it)

If the scraping doesn't automatically work for any reason - then my first port of call is to look at the moviedb or thetvdb directly (they are just websites with an API that Emby uses)  to check the details manually and if necessary correct the folder/file name.

https://www.themoviedb.org/

https://www.thetvdb.com/

https://www.imdb.com/ is also a good source.

yes that's good advice, thanks. The Identify function can also help.
