No Media Playing

MBT also will not play any media, hit play and nothing happens... is this also related to the server issue that affected the windows 8.1 app, or am I dealing with something different. Server Version 3.0.5233.40306.

Was it working previously? MBT is working for me with the dev server build and beta MBT (haven't got the numbers on me). What version of MBT are you running, and what releases are you set to update on?

Yes, it was working fine. MBT version 3.0.5214.16310 with server Version 3.0.5233.40306. I hit play in MBT and nothing happens, I can still browse all the menus, but the theme video doesn't play and cant play the movie.

 

Just tried it again, I think something is taking a long time in MBS as it took about 30 seconds for the video theme to start playing when I entered an item, then once that worked, then it would play. Not sure where the lag is coming from...I see one at 153720.2173 ms after playbackstart command. Never had an issue before (server is an i7 with 16gb ram, on wired gigabit). and once the video plays, there is no issue with playback (tested a blu-ray mkv file)

I tested on another machine without any problems, so I rebooted everything...server, htpc, router...and its back to normal. so just a local glitch then.
