Can't screening the media from my emby for mobile phone(android) to the TV device.

Dear guys,

 

I have a emby server in QNAP NAS at home. When I go to my friend's home, I can play my media at mobile phone emby. But when I try to screening the media on my friend's tv, the emby app can't find the right device. The devices showed in the app are the devices that in my home but not the devices that where I have been. Does anyone knows what is the problem?  Thanks a lot.

Hi, at this time only Dlna devices on same network of the server are supported.  In order to cast to the TV, you'd have to use an Emby app on the TV (if supported), or Chromecast.

Thank you very much. Your answer really solved my question. But if the app can support cast to TV from my phone, it will be more convenient for me. Anyway thank you again!
