Ninko 78 Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Hi, I am completely new to Emby and I'm having a very annoying problem. Movies seem to be fine but no matter how much I make sure that things are named correctly, TV shows just don't get matched right and end up being matched with what appears to be random shows. Can someone help please? Thanks Ninko
Ninko 78 Posted January 9, 2019 Author Posted January 9, 2019 I meant to say, I have it installed on a DS215j
Luke 42077 Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Hi there, can you please go over an example? thanks !
Ninko 78 Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 Hi, Just for testing purposes... Media/One Foot in the Grave/Season 1/One Foot in the Grave S01E01.mp4 Gets matched to My kitchen rules australia season 1 To me, that is random? Thanks Ninko
Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Can you attach the emby server log from when this was first scanned? Thanks !
Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 You can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
Ninko 78 Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 Hi, Here is the file you requested, I think I've done it right lol. The only way round this I've found is, to have to identify every TV show which is a bit of a pain. Thanks Ninko emby.txt
Solution Luke 42077 Posted January 12, 2019 Solution Posted January 12, 2019 It's because you added your shows as library folders: 2019-01-11 07:17:57.818 Info LibraryMonitor: Stopping directory watching for path /volume1/video/TV Shows/One Foot in the Grave 2019-01-11 07:17:57.818 Info LibraryMonitor: Stopping directory watching for path /volume1/video/TV Shows/Cold Case 2019-01-11 07:17:57.826 Info LibraryMonitor: Stopping directory watching for path /volume1/video/TV Shows/Most Haunted 2019-01-11 07:17:57.827 Info LibraryMonitor: Stopping directory watching for path /volume1/video/TV Shows/The Royle Family Try removing those from emby library setup and just add this: /volume1/video/TV Shows 1
Ninko 78 Posted January 12, 2019 Author Posted January 12, 2019 Hi, That fixed it! Stupid me lol. Thanks Ninko
