acril 1 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Hi, I am new to this but I seem to have lost the ability to scroll any window in emby. The mouse works perfect outside of Emby and worked fine yesterday but has suddenly stopped working. If I click on a menu I can scroll down the list but anything in the main window wont scroll, even using the keyboard I have no up or down or side arrows. The server version is Version 3.2.50
kikinjo 282 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Can confirm same in latest stable 3.5.3. In ET setting you cant scroll with wheel, this worked fine before. Latest ET 3.0.3
ebr 16212 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 The server version is Version 3.2.50 That is way old. I suggest you update.

acril 1 Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 Emby shows the server is up to date and clearly it isn't and will be the most likely cause; however I can't force an update as the scroll doesn't work and I cannot find a link on any screen to even check for an update.. I have tried the obvious, reboot, restart emby etc. Emby reports - Version 3.2.50.0 checkEmby Server is up to date Running on HTTP port 8096. I cannot scroll down to find a link to force a refresh or update anywhere on screen. Is there a file location I can go to and run from there?
Solution Happy2Play 9788 Posted November 1, 2018 Solution Posted November 1, 2018 What OS is that on? That version was before the upgrade framework to netcore, I believe. You will have to do a reinstall per your OS. No configurations should be lost https://emby.media/download.html 1
acril 1 Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 Thanks so much! I did as you suggested and now have the latest version running 3.5.3. All good and all working - thanks again for your assistance. 1
