Emby taskbar icon disappearing

The little green Emby icon in the taskbar is gone and it won't come back.

I did use it in the past to open Emby and restart the server. Now it is gone. If I restart the Emby server, it appears for a brief second then disappears.

Restarting the computer has no effect. I do not see any settings for this.

 

Emby is running and is working. Had to add a shortcut on the desktop to open Emby in a web browser.

 

How do I get this task back?

Hi.  Are you sure it isn't just hidden?

There is no arrow. I have the taskbar set to display all icons. Besides, it does show up for about one second when I start the Emby server.

Emby server is currently running and here is a pic of my taskbar. No new programs have been added since it worked previously. Just noticed it yesterday.

Try updating Chrome.

Chrome is updated. Emby is version 3.5.3.0

Yes it is OK, but you won't get a tray icon when you do that.

Ok, Yes I did that a few days ago. I created a desktop icon so I can get to the dashboard.
