YondaimeCB 0 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Hi, Anybody knows how to disable/remove the links under the Media title? Also, any idea why there are dashes in the title? would like to remove them.. Thank you in advance!!
Happy2Play 9789 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 What is your folder structure? As for the links maybe the folder metadata. And have never seen the dashes, I have never seen that before. Only thing I can think of is the embedded metadata. Note there are improvements to music coming in the 3.6 release.
YondaimeCB 0 Posted October 1, 2018 Author Posted October 1, 2018 Hi Happy2Play D:\MusicStorage\Billboard Top <--- Added Folder 1997 1-song 2-song 3-song 1998 1999 2000 I clicked the Edit metadata on the "1997", there are no external Ids, Genres, etc.. default settings.. not sure how to remove those links.. For the dashes, i run the library scans, after multiple attempts.. in went away no more dashes Thank you!
Luke 42096 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 The metadata must be embedded into your audio files. Have you checked on that?
Solution Happy2Play 9789 Posted October 1, 2018 Solution Posted October 1, 2018 With this structure I would think you would have to use Folder view, as all of the Year folders are Various Artist tracks. I assume the Album Artist link is coming from the first track since this is Album view. So in theory you would have to remove embedded Artist/Album Artist metadata. But that would affect the other tabbed views also. There are per library Folder view tabs in the next release 3.6. But in 3.5.3.0 there is a Folder View option in Dashboard-Library-Display. Does that work for your needs? 1
YondaimeCB 0 Posted October 9, 2018 Author Posted October 9, 2018 yeah, that's what i'm thinking too.. it's getting the metadata info from the first song, then creates the link under the Media folder, I need to fix it one by one though.. I tried the Folder view as one of the option, still getting the links.. but it's fine can live with it Thank you Happy2Play and Luke
