alexwilson 3 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 (edited) Manual upgraded Windows server from 3.2.5 to current version (as of today) as the dashboard wasn't detecting the update, and Emby Theater was complaining about the server version being out of date. After running the installer, the web login is showing source, and putting my login/password in doesn't work (page does not change). Cannot log in nor access dashboard. Connecting via Emby Theater is now working, so the server is up, at least in part. Edit: Attachments seem not to be working, here is what I see: Edited September 12, 2018 by alexwilson
alexwilson 3 Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 It looks like the problem is specific to access via the external domain URL (dynamic DNS name). If I use the local URL, the web interface loads correctly and I can access the dashboard.
Solution alexwilson 3 Posted September 13, 2018 Author Solution Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) Figured it out, the URL changed -- using /emby/web/login.html or /web/index.html gets the source, but going to / and letting it forward to the login page with works with the external address now. Schui1024 0 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Sorry to resurect an old post - I've just upgraded 2 systems to 4.0.1.0Under the dashboard, users, I can see the users and edit them fine, but as soon as I select Access, Parental Control or Password I get similar page as the OP. This is browsing locally on the servers. eg Access takes me to http://192.168.1.2:8095/web/userlibraryaccess.html?userId=fa9082ce1ed04ebba13be6f9d5a05610 which looks the same as the OP. This is after signing out, clearing cache and logging back in. Any thoughts?
Luke 42079 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Is that internet explorer? Please try using a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
Schui1024 0 Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 Bingo - I'm sure I tried Chrome earlier before I reported the issue, but it's working on both builds. Thanks Luke
