So check this screen shot out.  This poster keeps reverting to this same image over and over.  i've gone so far as to download the image I want myself, and use that local image file as the poster.  it works just fine, but then a few hours later it's back like this again.  i've tried refreshing the metadata, using images from the web, nothing works.  Whenever i fix it, it only stays fixed for a few hours then randomly reverts back to this.  It's bizarre.  Not having this issue with any other file, even trying the CoverArt plugin hasn't helped.  Ideas?

Where are your images stored? What images are in that folder?

D:\My\Emby Server\Images\posters

I have several movies using custom posters from this folder without an issue.  However the poster reverts even when i use the internal search function to pull the art from TheMovieDb.  The search works, and gives me lots of options.   if I pick one, it changes just fine.  Then hours later the poster reverts back to what you see above.  It does the same if I use a custom image on my computer.  It doesn't matter what the source is, the poster image for this one movie keeps reverting.

Can you provide a screenshot of the images in the media folder?

the media folder?   do you mean the folder where I have the poster image?  if so that's below.  Mostly these are just for things like collections or special editions of movies.  Not sure why this helps or if this is the folder you meant?

You probably have an image inside the original media folder and that always takes priority. It's not getting overwritten because you probably haven't enabled saving to original media folders.

So what happens is, you use emby to download a new one, it goes to the shared metadata folder, then on the next library scan the server re-discovers the one from the original media folder. Try deleting that image.
