Auto plays after phone call

So there is a nice feature with lets say music apps. 

 

Scenario

listening to a music track

phone call comes in, you answer

app playing music track auto-pauses and lets you talk

after phone conversations it auto resumes

 

this is great

 

the problem is, emby auto resumes no matter what!

 

Bug/Scenario

listening to a music track

I pause the track, NOT auto paused

phone call comes in, i answer

hang up and emby auto resumes

 

solution

emby should not auto resume if the track was paused manually

just to add to this.  this bug makes using emby to play music files practically unusable.

 

listening to a podcast driving to work

pause it when i get to work

get a phone call from my wife, hang up

podcast blares in front of all of my employees

 

the quick view when you drag down the top bar in android doesn't even have a stop button so i can't stop it

i have to go into the app, with 3-4 screen presses to stop it.  now i have to go back to find the track i was on and play it later when i actually want to listen to it

 

also to add i am a beta tester for the emby android app so let me know if you want me to test anything.

Imagine this

Go to gym, use wonderful envy to play some heavy music

Come home and sit on couch to relax and watch a movie with your 4 year old daughter

Wife calls, I answer on my watch because phone is in kitchen

We hang up and BLAAAAAAAAAAAAA music starts playing

 

I honestly cant believe this hasn't been fixed. It is a shame

Is there a setting to enable this? Every phone call stops my music without fail. Even if I deny the call. Then I have reopen emby and shuffle the playlist again.

@@DerrickM it sounds like you're asking about something different from this topic. So you want to prevent the media from pausing, is that correct?

Well, I was hoping it would pause if my phone rings but then resume after it either stops ringing or after I hang up if I've decided to answer.

You're saying it does a complete stop instead of a pause?

precisely. If music is playing a call stops it every time. messages don't though. In fact, not only does the music not resume but it doesn't show in my notification panel either. I have to re-open the application. I couldn't find any settings for this though, is there a permission that i need to manually allow?
