WMC recordings showing out of order

I've been having issues the past few weeks with recording from WMC. I am using ServerWMC plugin so Emby can pull the recordings in. Normally the recordings would be listed with the most recent recording first. Recently, I noticed that some old PBS cooking shows I had from last year were showing up at the beginning and the recent recordings seemed to be scattered around in the list.

 

I recently took a look and found that the recording seem to be getting weird media info. My observations are as follows:

 

1) While recording, the date added shows the correct date

2) After the recording finishes, all recordings seem to be getting tagged with Season 20 Episode 18

3) A few days later (not sure how long), the date added gets changed to some date in 1901

 

As an example, I attached a screenshot of a Black Lightning episode. You can tell by the filename, it was recorded 4/3/2018, but as of this morning, the media info it was tagged with says it was added 1/2/1901 and is season 20, episode 18

 

The second screenshot is an Arrow episode recorded on 4/5/2018. It also says season 20, episode 18, but the date added is 4/6/2018 (not sure why it doesn't reflect 4/5/2018 since I have prime time tv episodes recorded on 4/4/2018 that show date added as 4/4/2018)

 

Is it some weird interaction with ServerWMC even though I haven't changed the plugin since install (unless it auto-updates)?

Hi, this should be resolved for the next release as we've added support for that file naming convention. Affected recordings will require manual edits though. Thanks.

Is this the cause of my issue with missing overview and reset date added within the recording channel? If i deliver the file path of the recordings it has to meet Emby's standard naming convention?

Could be. Going forward I'll just make sure we're not even looking at that for episodes from channels.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought I was going nuts until I saw the media info was getting messed up. Good to know it'll be fixed soon.
