DVR 'on the fly' transcode limited to libx264?

Hey there, is it not possible for the on the fly DVR transcoding to use Intel QSV?

I just turned it on for the first time and was thinking I can't leave it on in the event more than 2 shows record at once (obviously should test but just basing on current CPU usage)

That's correct. It's possible to enable, but the more likely outcome is this feature will be removed as soon as we have the ability to convert after recordings instead. That is a much more reliable route.
