jordy 284 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hi Luke, Running v 3.0.5188.21314 and MBC 3.0.141.0. All "Played" show as "1/01/0001". I recently removed all Play states for my movie collection and then re-did them because somehow during an update (MBS or MBC, not sure) all movies got marked as played. Where does MBS store this value and can I fix it? Thanks Jordy
ebr 16178 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 How did you go about "removing all play states"?
jordy 284 Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 What I meant was, I went to the ehs, selected the Movies collection and Ctrl + W to make all watched then repeat to make all un-watched. Sorry if I confused you. I did some further testing last night and no matter how I do it - Ctrl W or actually watch something. It shows 1/01/0001 as the played date. ebr 16178 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Manually marking the item watched won't affect the last played date but any playback of it should. Also, are you 100% sure of your MBC version because there is logic in there to not show the date if it is equal to the minimum date value (which is what it looks like it is).
jordy 284 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Yeah, copied it down from mbc as I was writing the post. I'll check again in the morning but right now I need sleep. Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk
jordy 284 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) 'Morning ebr - as promised, confirmation of version numbers... This morning MBC offered to update to v142 but it failed and asked me to update manually. I ran the Configurator to update but it claimed it could not find a file (no filename specified) and refused - several times. So I used the website link to download MBC afresh. Upon installing It again offered v142 but the same thing happened again. ??? Anyway, I captured confirmation of the version numbers and rechecked the "Played " dates. At first look, all played movie items still show "1/01/0001". However, after playing an already played item the played date updates correctly but only after going out and then back in to the details view. After closing and re-opening MBC 2 or 3 times the updated dates are still correct but all the others are still at 1/01/0001. So maybe I had a glitch of some sort and refreshing the install has corrected it - at least for the newly watched items. Not sure whats going on with the v142 update though. Solution ebr 16178 Posted March 18, 2014 Solution Posted March 18, 2014 You will need to uninstall MBC, then re-install from the website, then let it update. I don't know why but some installations are missing the updater executable. 1
jordy 284 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 That did the trick for the v142 update. thanks. Will keep an eye on the played dates.
