Hi ALL -

I had to manually update emby server to 3.2.70) cause it was stuck on a prior version (ver 3.2.36 I think?!?!?). Anyways, got emby server reinstalled and had to setup my Library again. Here is where I am having some issues. I also use emby for WMC to watch and view my Media collection. I have movies spread out over multiple drives and had them show up as a group within emby WMC (ex - Bluray, Kids Bluray, DVD, etc......) ALL my movies were together. Now when I setup my Library directing it to each folder or even using Optional Network Path, emby is taking them as separate groups when Displayed in emby for WMC (ex - Bluray, Bluray1, Bluray11 etc.....) How do I get ALL my Hi-Def movies to show up as one Category in emby for WMC? I'm stumped as I have gone through and over the options available to me unless I'm blind.........

Also, I had a Background image setup when emby for WMC first started and showed me the categories along the bottom. I have forgotten which folder to paste that jpg image into - help please?

Thanks,

Hi, do all of your libraries appear as desired in the emby server web app?

This is what my emby server Library page shows up as......

You can see that my blurays are not split among 3 folders - Bluray, Bluray1, and Bluray11.

When I tried to add them into the Library, I though if I named them all the same (Bluray) it would add them together as ONE.

You are creating multiple libraries.  If you want one you just add the folder to an existing library or click User icon top right of screen and then Home Screen Settings-Library Folders

Library Folders
Automatically group content from the following folders into views such as Movies, Music and TV:

Ok, here's what you can do to get one single Bluray category.

Delete the Bluray1 and Bluray11 libraries. Then go into the Bluray library, and add two more folders to that library - h:\bluray and i:\bluray

Is this what you want? then you can repeat the process for dvd.

OK next, How do I get my Background Image back that I had? What folder do I need to place the jpg image in?

Appreciate your help here

Are u using custom images or server dynamic images?  If dynamic, it will be generated after the second library scan.  If custom right click library-edit image.

Sorry as I was not specific enough. When I launch emby for WMC, I had a background image that came up on the EHS screen before you select your category along the bottom (ie Bluray, TV, Favorites, Music, etc......) I want to know where I need to place that image again. I thought it was somewhere in the appdata folder on the server side versus emby for WMC.

@@ebr will know. That's something that is specific to emby for WMC so that's why you don't see anything for it in the server UI.
