kainthedragoonx 1 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Hey Gang! First off, love Emby. Thank you so much for all your work on this bad boy. I have a question, or an issue maybe? I have two seasons of a series in a "TV Show" type folder, broken down to [TV Show]\[show Name] I suspected the series to break it into seasons per normal, however, it's duplicating season 1, episode 1 instead. Is there something I need to do personally to make this work? Like edit the actual files or something? I know for a fact they are not the same episode. I've tried rebuilding the metadata but it had no affect. Any help would be awesome, thanks! Kain
Luke 42089 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Hi, there, can you go over a specific example, perhaps including a screenshot? thanks !
kainthedragoonx 1 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 For sure my dude, thanks for taking time for checking it out! I can show you the emby side right now. If it's not enough info, I'll post more when I get home. Side note: I'm also using the "Anime" plugin if that matters. Here is how the "Seasons" part of the UI looks: And how it looks when I browse to Season 1: Like I said, I have access to Emby Server right now, but not the underlying file structures. Let me know if I need to provide anything else. Thanks! Kain
Luke 42089 Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Hi, if you edit those episodes, do they show the correct season number? Perhaps the anime plugin is changing the season number? (I don't know what its' doing). Thanks.
kainthedragoonx 1 Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Awesome dude, I'll check it out and let you know tonight!
Solution kainthedragoonx 1 Posted February 9, 2018 Author Solution Posted February 9, 2018 Hey sorry I didn't follow up sooner. I had to rename the files in question, then had to rebuild the library by deleting the library files in the AppData. Once I re-scanned my media, it all worked. Thanks for the help! 1
