DVR recording folder naming suggestion

Hi

 

I would like to make a suggestion about the folder name created by the DVR.  Would be nice to add the TV Show and the movie year.  That would help with metadata matching.

 

For example, "The Flash (2014)" instead of "The Flash".  Right now, this tv show gets automatically link to the old show and every recording needs to be manually edited to get it right.  Same thing for S.W.A.T. (2017)

Hi, yes if we had that info that would be great, but the guide data doesn't have series year. it has the year of the episode which will potentially be different.

Ok.  I was on the impression that this info was available.  Plex is doing it.  I have then no idea where they get this info.
