Upgrading 3.2.60 till 3.2.70

According to my dashboard 3.2.70 is ready to install and all  I need is to restart the server. However when I tell Emby server to restart, it never completes. The shut down process of the restart seems to complete but it never restarts. When I manually start Emby again it the upgrade request is still there to restart to update. I have tried restarting the complete complete computer, but still does not seem to upgrade.

Sounds like your Emby server is not shutting down in a timely manner and the updates proccess just fails.  Since this is happening you have two options, allow update to happen via dashbaord and select shutdown instead of restart, ensure embyserver has died off in task manager and start server.  Or shutdown server and ensure task has died and reinstall from download page, nothing will be lost in your install.

Yea that's what I would suggest doing. Please shutdown emby server and install manually from the website on top of your existing version. thanks !

Just as an FYI, I ran into the same issue, but I did just manually download the update and ran it over the top of the existing install. That worked fine.

Thanks , did the manual update and it worked. Update also seemed to solve the problem of the emby server constantly crashing.
