Question about installing on Windows 10

Certainly! I'm running Windows 10, and right now, I'm running the Portable version of the server 3.2.70.2 Beta, mainly because none of the main branch has been installable since 3.2.60 arrived. When I try to run the release version installer I get the following popup , and I have tried everything I know to get around it but cant find the magic setting. I'm sure this is mostly a Windows issue, but I'm also sure your installation procedure changed drastically with 3.2.60. I should add that the same behavior occurs on 2 machines, both running Windows 10.

Do you have UAC disabled?

 

If not, try disabling and installing.

This isn't a problem with Emby.

I got my to go after checking the link  some how in the registry all the string values were set to disabled and I had put back the defaults and it worked!
