TomTiddler 39 Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Luke, you suggested this was a one-time issue upgrading to 3.2.60 - well still refuses to run setup in 3.2.70. What do I do now?
Luke 42079 Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Hi @@TomTiddler, can you please elaborate on this a little bit more? well still refuses to run setup in 3.2.70 Thanks !
TomTiddler 39 Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Certainly! I'm running Windows 10, and right now, I'm running the Portable version of the server 3.2.70.2 Beta, mainly because none of the main branch has been installable since 3.2.60 arrived. When I try to run the release version installer I get the following popup , and I have tried everything I know to get around it but cant find the magic setting. I'm sure this is mostly a Windows issue, but I'm also sure your installation procedure changed drastically with 3.2.60. I should add that the same behavior occurs on 2 machines, both running Windows 10.
CBers 7451 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Do you have UAC disabled? If not, try disabling and installing.
Solution moviefan 187 Posted January 21, 2018 Solution Posted January 21, 2018 This isn't a problem with Emby. You can fix by following this article: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee308453.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 Another article with some context: https://superuser.com/questions/1252575/unable-to-install-clickonce-application-due-to-security-settings-windows-10 1
