Hoosiers317 16 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) On each of my collections posters, there is an overlay graphic of discs showing how many are in that set. In many cases, it obscures an important part of the poster...like the word "collection." Can this be disabled? Here is an example of what I am talking about: Edited December 22, 2017 by jrcorwin
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 22, 2017 Solution Posted December 22, 2017 All you have to do is change the BoxSet Treatment Style in the plugin settings. 1

Hmm...I'm getting an error when trying to access that portion of the plugin settings. Not Found The requested URL /configurationpageext was not found on this server. http://app.emby.media/configurationpageext?name=CoverArtOverlays&profile=default Update: It worked once I access the plugin from the computer where the server is installed. Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 @@ebr Should CA plugin configuration work via Connect?
Hoosiers317 16 Posted December 22, 2017 Author Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) @@Happy2Play & @@ebr I feel a little silly creating so many threads, but I've tried to search for existing topics before doing so. I have another question and I'm just going to ask it here to save everyone from yet another thread. I love how Emby has handled my movies. When I have both an HD and 4K UHD copy of the same movie...one gets a Blu-ray case, while the other gets a 4K case. It's perfect. My problem is with my TV Shows. I'll use Planet Earth II as an example. I have both an HD and a UHD copy of the series. I want them in the same library. Unfortunately it has combined them into the same spot and it just looks like I have two of each episode. You can't tell them apart from one another. Is there a solution to this that I am missing? ebr 16185 Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Hi. We don't currently support different resolutions of a TV Series so they end up being combined. Also, as far as CoverArt is concerned, TV series also don't have all the different cover options that Movies do. However, you can use the overlays section to put resolution overlays on the thumbs.
Kandidat1999 34 Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 Can I bother again with this old topic regarding how to get rid of these discs on collection covers? I checked the Auto Box Plugin, but it says it's part of the Emby server now, and I should check each library for any changes to them, but when I look into the settings of my collection library, there is no option to turn off showing the disc on the cover? Here is the text from the Auto Box Set plugin This features of this plugin have now been merged into Emby Server. Please check the settings for each of your libraries to enable importing Collections from internet metadata providers. This plugin no longer has any function and you may now uninstall it..

Auto Box Set has nothing to do with that, it's CoverArt plugin you want to take a look into. Select desired treatment in plugin settings (or Plain if you want none). Kandidat1999 34 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Hi, thanks, I wasn't aware that it is possible to click on that "Default" Button inside the cover art plugin to open a new menu, changed it, works fine, is there another option somewhere that I'm maybe missing to increase the size of the Media Folders on the startup page? There is an option in the app on my shield but it would be perfect for me if the folder size would be the same as the "Continue Watching" Window Size, also is there a way to turn off the movie names or at least the year and studio tags on the startup page? You can do this inside the Media Folders, but It would be nice to have this option on the startup page as well.
