Movie doesn't resume

I am trying to resume a 2+ hour movie from 1:39 hours point but it doesn't seem to work no matter what I do.

I tried marking it as watched and then moving the timeline cursor to that same location but no go. It seems to show a screenshot of the frame at that point (after a 10+ mins wait to load) but it never plays the movie.

I'll try to add as much info as I can. So this issue occurs both through Roku and Emby Theatre running on a Win10 PC. I'll try to see if the issue persists on my Android Phone. Will redo a test run on all my devices and submit the logs. Here is a screenshot of the file info and codec:

hi @@T_Tronix, can we please see the information requested in my link above? Let's look at Roku as an example. Can we please see the emby server log, along with the ffmpeg log (if applicable)? Thanks.

Yes I am working on it.

I did the following tests:

  1. Win 10 PC with Emby Theatre, locally connected via LAN wire: works perfectly (took about a minute to load)
  2. Samsung S8 running Android 7.0 with Emby app locally on wifi: after about a 2 minutes wait got connection failed with server error, file never resumed play.
  3. Roku 4K connected locally via LAN wire: File never loaded waited for about 5 mins...

Log attached as zip (there were several files)

OK something else that might help:

If I mark the movie as watched and start from scratch:

When I move the time to 1 hour and 38 on my Emby Theatre (on Win10 PC) the movie loads.

It also loads on Roku afterwards as well if I press "resume".

But if I move the time to 1 hour and 38 on Roku it doesn't load

It also doesn't load on Emby Theatre if I press "resume".

So it seems as if moving on the timeline on Roku as something to do with this.

Not sure we can come to that conclusion but it may be something in the file at that particular time.  Can you move forward to other times (especially before that)?  What about jumping straight in using the chapters?

Ok now it doesn't even load on Emby Theatre lol, it just goes back to the movie info screen after about a minute trying to load. Here is the new log:

OK other files work so it's the video file that seems to be corrupt since I can't even move the time using my VLC or WMP on the server itself...
