revengineer 142 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 I installed emby on my server under user "admin" and up to and including v3.2.36, all recorded files would have this user set in the permission. Beginning 3.2.40, this is no longer the case. As a result, I can no longer browse the directory and delete shows manually. The only way to delete the files is through the emby browser. Can you confirm that the permissions on recorded TV files have changed?
Solution revengineer 142 Posted November 24, 2017 Author Solution Posted November 24, 2017 This was a user error on my part. I swapped out a server drive. While I copied the files, I did not set the permissions correctly. After doing so, I can deleted files again manually. 1
