Watchet marker get unselected

Reproduce:

-SeriesA

 \- name E01.mp4

 \- name E02.mp4

 \- name E03.mp4

 \- name E04.mp4

 

Go to Emby and mark SeriesA as Watched.

 

Now rename \- name E01.mp4 to \- name S01E01.mp4

and the Watched marker goes away.

Did you run a library scan after the rename?

 

Once the item is properly identified again, the watched status should return.

yeah i run a scan after the rename but the watched status dont return

Is that item properly identified?  Meaning it knows what series it belongs to and has the proper season and episode numbers?

 

Also, was that the case before this change?

yes. but the season not rly changes only from E01 to S01E01

Ok so this is expected behavior then. If we didn't know the season number before the rename, then you rename with the season number, then that changes the way user data is stored.
