Hi,

 

I tried to install the Emby for Android TV app, but my system says "Your devices isn't compatible with this version".  It is an old device, so it has Kit Kat.

 

Is there a minimum version that is required?

It says min requirements right on the app in the app store...

Hi, yes.  Android TV wasn't introduced until version 5.0 so that is a requirement.

 

Also, we will do everything we can to fully support all the official Android TV devices (Fire TV, Nexus Player, Mii 3, Shield, Android TV Smart TVs).  You are free to attempt to run the app on a non-official Android TV box but you may run into issues that we will not be able to solve.
