Autoplay?

New server version says autoplay is now supported. So far I have not been able to find the setting. To be clear, I want to autoplay all the videos in a media library (folder).

Sorry it says “support play next” is new. What does that mean exactly and how can I use it?

In the server dashboard, select you user icon at top right, Select "Playback" and then ensure that "Play Next Episode Automatically" is checked.

 

EDIT: pretty sure this only works for TV episodes tho...

It means when you're playing music the context menus to queue songs will have a play next option.

I have auto play next episode is enabled.. Emby does recognize the folder as being a season.. yet it has never auto played the next episode.. and I see this post thread is from 2017, it's 2019 .. 

I am running the latest of everything as of 03/03/2019 .. latest roku app, latest emby server ( lifetime member ) .. this option has never worked for me.. not once.. 

 

sooo... why? any thoughts? I saw mention of "play next" being for music, but that seems to be a different thing than the playback "Play next EPISODE automatically" unless songs are some how considered episodes and episodes are not..  =)

Again.. Emby has sorted the stuff out properly.. it knows  the episodes, it knows what is next.. the option is set.. and.. it does not even select the next episode it just goes back to the screen where I can play the one I just watched again..
