keithterrill 2 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I have looked and looked and cannot find or maybe do not know how to find the answer to this problem. Overnight the emby web contact client's home screen now has a Halloween Theme background and font which is alright though I do not care for it, but more so it now is playing music which 1) I do not like the selection and 2) I really really do not want any music to play. I cannot find how to turn this off. Help? Thank you Keith
Solution ebr 16187 Posted October 30, 2017 Solution Posted October 30, 2017 Hi. Click your user icon top right then Display and uncheck "Allow Seasonal Themes". 2
trevorphillips 3 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Hi. Click your user icon top right then Display and uncheck "Allow Seasonal Themes". Theme did not disappear.. still there and annoying. It also makes it hard to watch anything as it grays out to fading black the entire screen.

Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) You don't see this? After changing did you refresh your browser? Edited October 30, 2017 by Happy2Play
trevorphillips 3 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) You don't see this? After changing did you refresh your browser? I have version 3.2.25. I think there is a bug and that is why I was told to update... it doesn't actually work when I uncheck it in the Display settings. I even tried switching browers after saving and its always checked off.. Make sure you are running Emby Server 3.2.35, thanks. Is there a way to force emby to autoupdate? I tried searching through the forums and all I see are updates when system is idle or the redownloading emby and reinstalling option, which is just a painful amount of work for a simple thing I would like to see go away. trevorphillips 3 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 You're running 3.2.25, or 3.2.35? The former, I would like to be on the latter. Is there a way to force emby to autoupdate? Hi, you can always install the latest version from the Emby website, on top of your existing version: https://emby.media/download.html Does this answer your question?

Sounds like you are running Emby as a Service so you are required to manually update as the instructions say/ I would shutdown Emby server and run the installer from the download page.

Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) Will this reset all of my existing settings, watched episodes, etc? No Only if you uninstall everything as most of that info is stored in the library.db. Edited October 30, 2017 by Happy2Play
