Dizzy49 99 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I have a bunch of old low res images for many of my movies and some of my tv shows. I am also missing various images here and there. What's the best way to go about replacing them (or everything) with high res images? I have Emby Premiere and Cover Art 4. I thought there was an Image Fetcher that you could register for to get highre res images or something. I don't see that option now (or I'm crazy and it was some other program entirely). Thanks! -Dizzy
Solution Happy2Play 9782 Posted October 17, 2017 Solution Posted October 17, 2017 I guess what is your definition of high res and do any of the providers have what you want? You have 4 providers OMDB, TMDB, FanArt, and TVDB. My guess would FanArt would be your first option. You will need to go through each content type and change the Image fetchers order. (Dashboard-Library-Metadata-each content type Then Refresh All and select replace existing images. 1

Dizzy49 99 Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 @@Dizzy49 has this answered your question? thanks ! Yes, Took me a bit to figure out how to refresh everything. Use the Metadata Manager, select the Media Folder, then the dots (do the dots have a name, like an elipsis?) select Refresh Metadata, and check the Replace Existing Images.
Luke 42080 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 You can also do this from emby library setup using the 3 dot menu. 1
