sync transcode at 1x

Hi, I'm running the latest docker image (stable)

 

I am trying to sync to an android client and noticed that the transcodes were really slow.

 

I changed the server settings, transcoding thread count set to max and throttling is turned off. I canceled the sync jobs and restarted the server. With the new settings, I initiated a new sync.

 

Again, transcode is at 1x. Htop shows cpu utilization of around 70% out of a total of 1600% (8 core, 16 thread xeon processor)

Hi, in server sync settings you can configure the sync transcoding options. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Ah, I did not notice that tab before.

 

So as long as the "Enable full speed conversion" is unchecked, it will transcode sync at 1x? No matter what the thread count is set to?

Yes.
